Tool input stays in the browser

ByteFormula's current tools perform calculations and text transformations in JavaScript on your device. Input entered in the tools is not submitted to ByteFormula, written to a database or automatically saved in local storage.

No accounts, payments or newsletters

The site does not provide user accounts, payment processing or newsletter registration. It therefore does not collect information for those purposes.

Analytics and advertising

No analytics or advertising scripts are included in this version of the site. There is no analytics identifier, advertising profile or marketing cookie set by ByteFormula.

Local preference

If you manually choose a light or dark theme, the site saves that preference in your browser's local storage. It contains only the words light or dark and can be removed through your browser settings.

Hosting logs

Like most web hosting services, the server that delivers these static files may keep basic request logs for security and operations. Those records are controlled by the hosting provider and may include an IP address, requested path, timestamp and browser information.

Changes

If the site later adds analytics, advertising, accounts or server-side features, this policy should be updated before those features are enabled.
