What the site is for

A utility is useful when it gets out of the way. ByteFormula puts the working interface near the top, keeps assumptions next to results, and avoids accounts where an account adds nothing to the task.

The current tools cover transfer math, storage units, JSON, timestamps, text encodings, identifiers and case conversion. Each one is designed to work without sending its input to a server.

How new tools are chosen

A new tool should solve a specific job, work reliably in the browser, and explain enough for someone to trust the result. A long directory of empty or duplicated pages would not meet that standard.
